From the crew at Lohman Earth Works we hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and got the opportunity to spend it with their family! It's hard to believe, but next week (1/4/16) we will start our 2016 mowing contracts. Discounts will be awarded for those who sign up early so don't wait! Thank you for a great 2015 season and we look forward to an even better 2016 season working with you!
As the end of the season is nearing we just wanted to thank all of our customers who have helped us continue to grow and make this our best season yet! With that, we also want to thank our mowing customers who trusted us with our new professional grounds maintenance division and making it a great first year! We have a big week ahead of us with the GIE+EXPO in Louisville, KY.
We are excited to say that Pierce Lohman completed The Bank of America Chicago Marathon yesterday, his first marathon, while raising over $1,200.00 for The University of Iowa Pediatric Cancer Division to help families with various costs they may incur while their children are going through cancer treatments at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Thank you to all of our customers who donated and supported him with his first marathon!
As the season is coming to an end there is still a lot of work to do in order to get ready for winter! Call today to get scheduled for our professional fall clean up services.
It's been a great week for us here at Lohman Earth Works as we were recognized by two great Iowa organizations. Earlier in the week we were interviewed by Iowa's Secretary of State Paul Pate for promoting Entrepreneurship. Today we were recognized by The University of Iowa's John Pappanjohn Entrepreneurial Program for their #FoundersClubFriday campaign. Here are some pictures of the articles and then a few photos of what we have been up too!
This is a 550 sqft. patio we recently completed in Moline right in time for the 4th of July! This patio is made out of coffee creek brussels block, brussels dimensional, copthorn pavers for the accent, and finished off with two Indiana limestone pillar caps! Thank you to the Weigandt family for trusting us with your project
We've been staying busy here at Lohman Earth Works, we recently finished a complete landscape overhaul and have been trying to catch up on mowing. Starting Monday we will begin another retaining wall and can't wait! Look out for more pictures to come on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Here's a few photos!
With the previous rain we have received and rain in the forecast for the rest of the week and weekend we are mowing at every chance we get. We will be mowing all day and evening today and will try to get to everyone who we have not got to yet before the next round of storms comes through. Thank you for working with us.
